Climate.edu is written and produced by Dr. Richard Sebastian. Richard has worked in education in some capacity for over 20 years: teaching GED classes for incarcerated students, as adjunct faculty in 2 and 4 year colleges, instructing computer basics classes in a certain cigarette factory, directing educational technology policy and practice for the Virginia Community College System, and leading systemic change in community colleges across the country for the national nonprofit Achieving the Dream. He is a member of the governing board of the National Network of Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation (NNOCCI), a Climate Reality Leader, En-Roads Ambassador, and Action Leader for the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN).
Richard currently lives with his wife, son, and two dogs in Winston-Salem, NC.
